Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Glasgow

Be met at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Glasgow. Enjoy the evening at leisure to relax or explore.

Day 2: Glasgow

Discover Glasgow on a panoramic tour, from the magnificent Glasgow Cathedral to the People’s Palace and Glasgow Green. Explore Glasgow’s rich past as one of the most important industrial cities in Britain. You’ll then visit the National Piping Centre, where you’ll experience the iconic Great Highland Bagpipe, Scotland’s national instrument, and delve into its vibrant history. The centre houses a remarkable collection, including the world’s oldest bagpipe and a piping relic once owned by Robert Burns. Upon arrival, a piper will greet you with a tune, before you have the chance to try your hand at playing the bagpipes. Next, explore The Necropolis, a Victorian garden cemetery renowned for its striking architecture, sculptures, and captivating stories. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure before a Welcome Dinner this evening.

Day 3: Glasgow, Inverness

Today, journey to Stirling Castle, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour. Steeped in Scotland’s history, this iconic castle sits atop a volcanic rock, a strategic site fortified since ancient times. Discover the stories of the monarchs who once ruled from here and explore the beautifully restored Royal Palace, the childhood home of Mary, Queen of Scots. Afterward, visit a local whisky distillery for a tasting before continuing your journey to Inverness.

Day 4: Inverness, Loch Ness

Your day begins with an exclusive Insider Experience. Following this, explore Dunrobin Castle, the most northerly of Scotland’s grand estates and the largest in the Northern Highlands. Experience a captivating falconry display before returning to Inverness and enjoying the remainder of your day at your leisure.

Insider Experience – Loch Ness Boat Tour

For an unforgettable view of Loch Ness, embark on a boat tour, offering both indoor and outdoor seating for ultimate comfort. Enjoy light bites, refreshing drinks, and a fully stocked bar onboard, with sonar technology allowing you to keep watch for any hidden mysteries beneath the water’s surface.

Day 5: Inverness, Edinburgh

Start your day with a visit to the historic St Andrews Castle, perched on the dramatic cliffs overlooking the North Sea. After exploring the castle’s rich history and stunning surroundings, continue your journey to the vibrant and captivating city of Edinburgh. Later, indulge your tastebuds with an afternoon tea at The Macdonald Rusacks Hotel, a renowned Victorian building virtually within a sand wedge of the 18th hole of the world-famous Old Course in St Andrews, one of the most iconic golf hotels in the world.

Day 6: Edinburgh
